Usage in Freshwater
JBL pH-Plus allows for a gradual increase in carbonate hardness in aquariums with water that is too soft. The treatment can be repeated until the desired value is reached. The pH increase is limited to a maximum value of 8.5.
Usage in Marine Water
In marine aquariums, JBL pH-Plus allows for the adjustment of carbonate hardness to the natural value of seawater, ranging from 7 to 12 °dKH, in order to stabilize the pH within an optimal range of 8.0 to 8.4.
