JUNGLE SUGAR 3 Kg is a very fine round sand. It is neutral, so it does not alter the hydrogen potential even under carbon dioxide injection.

JUNGLE SUGAR 3 Kg is an ideal substrate as a beneficial bacterial support for waste elimination and plant nutrition. Its white color reflects light for a bright aquarium and highlights the color of your fish.

Very fine white sand for the bottom of freshwater aquariums, with specially developed bacterial culture for seeding, packaged in a sachet in a separate box.
The bacterial strains are dehydrated and packaged away from light, on a biological mineral substrate. Thus, they do not suffer any environmental effects (temperature variations, limited shelf life) as a liquid product would. These bacteria shorten the startup phase and allow for immediate biological maturity. They decompose organic waste deposited at the bottom, settle in the root zone of plants, and thus promote nutrient absorption by the roots.

Jungle Sugar Sand does not harden the water. It is a pH-neutral product, resistant to CO², with rounded grains. This sand is particularly suitable for cichlids that will sift through the sand in search of food and arrange their nests. Its whiteness magnificently highlights the colors of discus and other freshwater fish. Jungle Sugar Sand is also ideal for combinations of catfish, freshwater rays, and shrimp.

The amount of bacterial substrate is adapted to the amount of bottom sand in the package.

Bacterial cultures are provided with the 8 kg and 25 kg packages.
