JBL PRONOVO BOTIA TAB M 100 ml – Food for loaches and bottom-dwelling fish

The JBL PRONOVO BOTIA TAB M is a basic food in tablet form, specially designed for Cobitidae such as Botia, Gyrinocheilus, Gastromyzon, and Pangio. It perfectly meets the nutritional needs of bottom-dwelling fish in aquariums.

Main Features

Type of food: sinking or attachable food tablets for the inner glass.

Target species: loaches and Cobitidae.

Fish size: 1 to 20 cm.

Packaging: original sealed, airtight, and lightproof container, recyclable, with integrated dispenser.

Benefits and Usage

Cobitidae originate from Asia and have a benthic lifestyle, primarily feeding on the ground. PRONOVO BOTIA tablets are designed to sink quickly and remain accessible to bottom-dwelling fish.

The tablets can be left at the bottom of the aquarium or attached to the inner glass with light pressure. This method allows easy observation of feeding and ensures that the targeted fish consume their ration.

Thanks to natural raw ingredients without synthetic additives, this food provides a diet close to the natural regime and contributes to the good health of aquarium fish.

Feeding Tips in a Community Aquarium

In a community aquarium, it is recommended to first feed the fish in the upper water layers. While they consume their ration, then place one or two tablets for the loaches to prevent the food from being intercepted or lost in the decoration.

It is possible to simultaneously distribute several types of tablets suitable for different species of bottom-dwelling fish. This dietary diversity is beneficial and ensures that each group receives appropriate food.

Tablets or Wafers

Food tablets are made from finely ground flakes then mechanically compressed. Wafers are made from extruded slurry then cut and dried. Tablets offer a different structure, particularly appreciated by some loach species.
