Reef Plus is a full-spectrum reef supplement designed to enhance the growth, coloration, and vitality of corals, fish, and other reef organisms.
It provides nutrients naturally found in tropical reef waters, including vitamins, amino acids, essential fatty acids, and trace elements.
SEACHEM
Reef Plus combines complex vitamins C and B, essential amino acids, and trace elements in a single formulation, unlike incomplete supplements limited to vitamins.
It supports metabolic processes, pigment formation, and overall reef health, without adding nitrate or phosphate.
Function: Nutritional reef supplementation.
Type: Concentrated liquid supplement.
Contains vitamins C, B12, thiamine, inositol, choline.
Provides amino acids and essential fatty acids.
Contains bioavailable iodide.
Free of nitrate and phosphate.
100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 4 L.
Add 5 ml for every 80 L of water twice a week, or as needed to maintain coral growth.
Can also be used as a food enrichment by mixing 1 ml into approximately 15 ml of food.
Refrigerate after opening.
The organic compounds in Reef Plus may cause a temporary drop in redox potential.
Ozone use should be discontinued during dosing to prevent the destruction of vitamins and amino acids.
Some compounds may be removed by the skimmer, but a significant proportion remains assimilated by reef organisms.
Reef Plus contains iodide, a stable and bioavailable form of iodine.
In lightly stocked tanks, this supply may be sufficient. In heavily populated systems, a specific iodide supplement may be necessary.
Reef Plus does not directly promote unwanted algae blooms.
The organic matter it contains is designed to be assimilated by reef organisms and not by algae.
Once opened and stored in the refrigerator, Reef Plus generally lasts between 6 and 12 months.
