For aquarists with well-stocked reef aquariums, Reef Salt+ is an ideal salt for you. With high levels of key ionically balanced macronutrients such as alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, it has been designed to keep up with even the most nutrient-demanding and fast-growing coral colonies.

Unlike the natural reef environment with abundant levels of micro and macronutrients, an aquarium is a closed ecosystem in which valuable micro and macro trace elements are constantly consumed by corals at different rates. Continuous access to macronutrients is one of the most important aspects for maintaining a healthy and stable reef aquarium. For those who do not dose microelements individually, regular water changes with Reef Salt+ will help reintroduce these valuable elements into the water in a balanced ratio for corals to absorb and promote their growth, coloration, and immunity.

The key to the success of marine aquariums lies in stable parameters. Therefore, using Reef Salt+ during regular 10% water changes creates optimal conditions for coral growth and development. High-quality salt not only promotes better growth, but it also supports the building of new skeletons, ion exchange, enhances coloration, and the natural photosynthesis process.

Dosage and storage

• For best use, Reef Salt+ should be dissolved in RODI water at a temperature between 24 and 25°C (75 and 77°F) at a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 SG)
• Dissolve 390 grams of salt in 10 liters (2.19 US gal) of RODI water
• Mix for about 15 minutes. Once completely dissolved, the saltwater is ready for immediate use
• Dissolved salt should be used within 3 days. Evaporation changes water parameters, so keep prepared saltwater tightly sealed. If storing for several days, check its salinity before use
