Chaetodontoplus dimidiatus – Bali Aquarich Captive-Bred Angelfish
Chaetodontoplus dimidiatus is an exceptional angelfish, still rare in aquaristics, appreciated for its striking color contrast. Its body is divided between a deep blue-black on the posterior part and a bright yellow at the front, with pectoral fins highlighted in electric blue. This young specimen measures between 4 and 6 cm, an ideal size for gentle acclimatization.
A fish with character, ideal for large aquariums
Of a territorial but non-aggressive nature, this angelfish integrates well into a well-structured environment. It explores live rocks in search of food and enjoys swimming in semi-shaded areas. It is recommended for specific reef tanks or large fish-only tanks.
Mesocosm breeding by Bali Aquarich
This specimen is bred by Bali Aquarich, a major player in tropical aquaculture. The fish are fed with live copepods for 1 week, then gradually accustomed to frozen artemia and marine pellets. Each individual is acclimated for 15 days in a controlled reef environment before shipment.
