Years of development, MICROBE-LIFT / Gravel & Substrate Cleaner accelerates the biological breakdown of slow-degrading organic waste from aquarium bottoms that can become toxic to fish and plants.

As organic waste accumulates at the bottom of the aquarium, it begins to decompose, releasing toxic gases and by-products into the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish, marine life, and plants.

MICROBE-LIFT / Gravel & Substrate Cleaner will also help clarify dirty aquarium water.

Recommended for use with all MICROBE-LIFT bacterial and enzymatic products.

The MICROBE-LIFT / Gravel & Substrate Cleaner will discolor your aquarium water for 48 to 96 hours after application.

This product is black in color and may slightly tint your aquarium water. Do not worry. The active ingredient is a natural product and will help clarify the water as well as digest organic matter in the aquarium.

Precautions

- Follow instructions carefully
- Avoid contact with skin or eyes. In case of contact, thoroughly rinse the area with cold water.

Usage

- For substrate with 1/4 inch or more accumulation of solids, apply 2 tsp. (10 ml.) of MICROBE-LIFT / Gravel and Substrate Cleaner per 10 gal. (38 L.) of tank water.

- Use as directed every two weeks until the substrate is clean, then follow the substrate maintenance dosage schedule below.

- Substrate Maintenance: For substrate with less than 1/4 inch accumulation of solids, apply 1 tsp. (5 ml.) of MICROBE-LIFT / Gravel and Substrate Cleaner per 10 gal. (38 L.) of tank water.

- Use as directed once a month.

- If the accumulation exceeds 1/4 inch, follow the substrate cleaning dosage schedule.
