This Montipora Phoenix Evolution is appreciated for its fast growth and resistance to moderate variations in water parameters. Its development in successive plates allows it to create harmonious reliefs, bringing a natural and dynamic touch to any well-established reef aquarium.
Ideal conditions for intense coloring
Lighting and flow
To maximize its brilliance and maintain its intense colors, moderate to strong lighting is recommended, with an intensity of 200-250 PAR. A medium flow is essential to prevent sediment accumulation and ensure optimal oxygenation of its tissues.
Water parameters
Like all SPS corals, the RAH Montipora Phoenix Evolution requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-10 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
- Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal coloring
- Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L
