T-ISO – Tisochrysis lutea – live food 90 ml
T-ISO is a live microalga measuring about 10 micrometers long and 2 micrometers wide. It is widely used as food for fish, crustaceans, corals, and larvae due to its natural richness in DHA, an essential omega-3 fatty acid, as well as carotenoids like fucoxanthin and beta-carotene.
Nutritional Benefits
Tisochrysis lutea is a natural and highly bioavailable source of DHA. It also provides proteins, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants that contribute to the growth, vitality, and reproduction of aquatic organisms.
Its flavor is particularly appreciated by fish and crustaceans, making it a highly effective microalga for stimulating feeding and reducing food refusal.
Product Features
Packaged in a 90 ml bottle of non-centrifuged live culture.
Culture harvested less than 24 hours before shipment.
Can be used for direct feeding or as a starter culture.
Product should be stored in the refrigerator.
Recommended Dosage
Add approximately 10 ml directly per 100 L of aquarium water.
Distribution can be carried out several times a week according to the biological needs of the tank and the organisms maintained.
Starting and Maintaining a Culture
The culture of T-ISO is carried out in sterile seawater enriched with a Guillard F/2 type medium.
It is recommended to use a clean and transparent container, maintain a temperature close to 19°C, a photoperiod of 18 hours on 24, and a continuous supply of filtered air.
Once the culture becomes dense, the volume can be doubled with enriched water to continue the production cycle.
Usage Precautions
This product should not be used in a startup aquarium without appropriate technical support. For aquaristic use only.
