FORMEL PREIS KORALL – Stability of Carbonate Hardness

FORMEL PREIS KORALL provides the necessary carbonate hardness based on calcium. It is suitable for all reef aquariums, Malawi and Tanganyika fish tanks, as well as systems hosting invertebrates and real corals.

The product helps reduce excessive trace element concentrations while adding essential mineral complexes. It also promotes improved protein skimming.

Usage in Marine Aquariums

FORMEL PREIS KORALL helps maintain stable carbonate hardness, essential for the proper biological functioning of the reef tank. Ideally, carbonate hardness should never drop below 7°.

Recommended dosage: once a week, add 20 ml per 100 liters of water.

If the initial carbonate hardness is particularly low or if the water is from reverse osmosis, it is recommended to double the indicated dose.

Usage in Alkaline Freshwater Malawi and Tanganyika

The waters of lakes Malawi and Tanganyika are naturally low in nutrients and require a minimum carbonate hardness of 12°.

FORMEL PREIS KORALL helps correct carbonate hardness and reduce excessive nutrient concentrations.

The dosage is the same as that used in marine water.

In cases of very low carbonate hardness or when using osmosis water, add FORMEL PREIS KORALL daily until reaching a carbonate hardness of 12°. Once this value is reached, a weekly addition is sufficient.
