Elegant and efficient white design with a chamber for micron bags, a skimmer chamber, 4 integrated dosing lines, 4 probe holders, and an RO water reserve.
The water from the aquarium flows into the first chamber of the sump with the outlets submerged in the water, then overflows into the micron bag chamber to prevent salt creep and reduce noise. The Duoflo filter sock chamber allows you to choose the filtration size you want. You can also choose filter socks in different grain sizes, having the first compartment in fine microns and the second in coarse microns. Once the first chamber is blocked, the water overflows into the second chamber.
The next step is a skimmer chamber with an adjustable Level-o-matic™ weir to control the water level for optimal skimmer operation. Rather than simply adjusting the baffles with thumb screws, Skimz Level-o-matic™ extends this idea to facilitate adjustment by turning the knob to slide the weir door. The water level in the skimmer chamber is adjustable from 180 to 230 mm to meet the water height requirements for different protein skimmers.
All Skimz Sumpro™ UP30 sumps come with a probe holder that can hold up to four probes. The holes have a diameter of 15 mm with thumb screws to secure probes of different sizes. The sumps also come with a tube holder in the upper support brace to hold four tubes with an inner diameter of 4 mm (3/16") coming from dosing pumps, automatic water tanks, reactors, etc.
