An Intense Purple and Structuring SPS Coral
The Stylophora Milka is a highly valued SPS coral for its deep purple color and its structure of compact and rounded branches. Its robust texture and harmonious shape make it an ideal coral to add depth to a reef aquarium.
A Robust and Fast-Growing Coral
This Stylophora Milka is known for its resilience and relatively fast growth. It easily adapts to well-established aquariums and tolerates slight variations in water parameters, making it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists.
Ideal Conditions for Optimal Coloration
Lighting and Water Flow
To maintain its intense purple hue and promote healthy growth, moderate lighting is recommended, with an intensity of about 200-300 PAR. A strong water flow is essential to oxygenate its tissues and prevent sediment build-up between its thick branches.
Water Parameters
Like all SPS corals, the Stylophora Milka requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-9 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
- Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal coloration
- Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L

Vraiment très déçu à la fois par la forme (trois tiges courbées) et par la couleur (marron). Mais sinon en bonne santé.
