Duration of Effectiveness

SeaGel works on average for 3 to 4 months depending on the organic load and phosphate level of the system. A slight rise in temperature and gas release upon initial wetting are normal.

Compatibility and Safety

SeaGel allows for the removal of copper and other toxic metals. Its impact on trace elements is very limited and does not compromise the balance of a well-maintained reef aquarium.
