Used continuously, CupriSorb also allows for the gradual extraction of precipitated copper present in the substrate, limiting copper leaching and making it possible to maintain invertebrates in aquariums previously treated with copper.

Use 250 ml for 600 L of water to remove up to 7,500 mg (12 ppm) of copper.
Place CupriSorb in a suitable filter bag and install it in a high-flow area to maximize water passage through the resin.

To remove copper leached by the substrate, leave CupriSorb in place for at least 2 weeks after tests indicate an absence of copper.
Exhaustion is visible by a dark blue-black coloration of the beads. Use MultiTest Copper to monitor the copper level.

Soak the resin in a non-metallic container with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of muriatic acid. Strictly follow the acid manufacturer's warnings.
Perform the operation outdoors and out of reach of children.
Let soak for 1 hour, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary until the original color returns.
Rinse thoroughly, then add baking soda until the foaming reaction completely stops. Rinse again.
CupriSorb is then ready to be reused.
If the original color cannot be restored after several regenerations, proceed to the rinsing steps and regenerate the resin in HyperSorb or Purigen.
