The BEA Cycle biomedia is specially designed to optimize the biological filtration of your marine aquarium. Thanks to its complex internal structure, it promotes effective bacterial colonization, essential for a stable and healthy ecosystem.

Porous Structure and Biological Functioning

Each BEA Cycle pellet has a unique reticulated structure, composed of interconnected micro-channels. This structure provides a surface area for bacterial colonization of approximately 3,000 m² per liter, promoting both nitrifying bacteria (in the internal environment) and denitrifying bacteria (in the external environment).

By replicating the effects of natural live rock, this biomedia ensures a progressive reduction of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, while maintaining a sustainable biological balance in your aquarium.

Equivalence and Filtration Capacity

One liter of BEA Cycle is equivalent to about 15 kg of live rock in terms of biological performance. It represents an ideal solution for modern aquariums, where space is optimized.

Recommended Dosage

For a 200-liter aquarium, it is recommended to use about 1 liter of BEA Cycle, depending on the fish population and the organic load of the system.

Installation and Environment

For a nitrifying action, place the BEA Cycle in a highly circulated and well-oxygenated internal area of your aquarium. For a denitrifying action, prefer an external area with low water movement.

Preparation for Bacterial Seeding

Before use, it is recommended to rinse the media and soak it in a bucket containing 4 to 5 liters of aquarium water. Then add specific bacteria to promote rapid and effective colonization. Maintain the mixture at 25°C for 24 to 48 hours with gentle circulation and light oxygenation.

Format and Packaging

The BEA Cycle is packaged in a 500 ml bag. Each pellet measures approximately 2.5 cm in diameter, allowing for easy handling and optimal arrangement in the various compartments of your aquarium.
