Testing Procedure
Ensure the test tube is clean before each use and thoroughly rinsed after each test to avoid contamination of the results.
Collect a 10 ml water sample. Add 5 drops of the PO4-1 test liquid, then shake the test tube. Next, add 5 drops of the PO4-2 test liquid and shake again. Add 2 spoonfuls of phosphate powder (tube with blue cap), then shake thoroughly.
After a 10-minute waiting period, determine the phosphate value using the provided colorimetric chart. Place the test tube on the chart and observe the color from above, under indirect light. Compare the obtained shade with the reference colors to estimate the PO4 concentration.
