Lybia tesselata – Pom-Pom Boxer Crab for Reef Aquarium
Lybia tesselata, also known as the boxer crab or pom-pom crab, is a fascinating small crustacean native to tropical reefs. It is recognizable by its creamy color speckled with reddish spots, but most notably by the characteristic presence of two small anemones that it holds at the end of its claws.
An Original and Peaceful Behavior
This crab uses its anemones not to hunt, but solely for self-defense. This passive protection strategy makes it a unique and appreciated inhabitant in reef aquariums. It is harmless to corals and other invertebrates. This discreet specimen prefers rocky areas and nooks where it can hide during the day.
In captivity, Lybia tesselata may sometimes lose one of its anemones, particularly during transport. This is absolutely not problematic: it is capable of propagating the second anemone to replace it within a few weeks, a rare and fascinating behavior.

J'ai été chez moi pendant 3 jours pour attendre la livraison, le livreur n'as jamais sonné et aucun appel ni information... J'ai du appeler moi-même et en insistant j'ai appris qu'il fallait que j'aille chercher mon colis à 15 km de chez moi... Donc autant ne pas prendre la livraison... Bref j'ai quand même fait d'autres livraison qui se sont bien passé mais lui je pense que l'attente l'a tué dommage...

Déçu, Mais !!!
Très joli petit crabe, la seule fois ou j'ai pu l'admirer, c'était lors de son arrivée au déballage, depuis, plus rien ! jamais vu dans mon bac!!! un Reefer 170. A mon avis, celui-ci est idéal pour de très petit nano récifal si vous voulez en profiter .

Vraiment déçu du produit pour le prix payé. Il fait moins de 2 cm avec les pattes. Un corps minuscule
