Balling Light Trace 1 Color Grow Fauna Marin is a trace element solution designed for targeted compensation of micro-elements within the Balling Light method or any traditional Balling method. The addition of trace elements directly to Balling salts allows for complete compensation, based on the actual consumption of the aquarium.

Function and principle of action

The regular supply of trace elements helps prevent the gradual imbalance of heavily populated reef aquariums, commonly referred to as old tank syndrome. This solution is perfectly suited for high-consumption aquariums and allows for precise adjustment based on the specific needs of each aquarium.

Compatibility with Balling Light method

The Balling Light method relies on the use of three distinct containers: calcium, magnesium, and carbonate. Balling Light Trace 1 is exclusively intended for container 1, corresponding to the Calcium Mix.

Preparation of the Calcium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Calcium Mix in 3 L of osmosed water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 1 and 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 2. Mix thoroughly, then complete with osmosed water to obtain a total volume of 5 L. Shake well before use.

Dosage and adjustment

The exact amount to distribute depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to precisely calculate this consumption using a dedicated calculator such as AquaCalculator, and then adjust the doses accordingly.
