Balling Light Trace 2 Metabolic Fauna Marin is a trace element solution intended for the targeted compensation of micro-elements within the Balling Light method or any classic Balling method. Adding trace elements to Balling salts allows for comprehensive compensation tailored to the actual consumption of the aquarium.

Function and Mechanism of Action

The controlled addition of trace elements helps maintain the metabolic balance of reef organisms and prevents progressive imbalances associated with the old tank syndrome. Trace 2 Metabolic is particularly suitable for high-consumption aquariums and can be precisely adjusted according to the specific needs of each aquarium.

Compatibility with Balling Light Method

The Balling Light method relies on the use of three separate containers: calcium, magnesium, and carbonate. Balling Light Trace 2 is exclusively added to container 1, corresponding to the Calcium Mix.

Preparation of Calcium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Calcium Mix in 3 L of RO water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 1 and 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 2. Mix thoroughly, then top up with RO water to achieve a total volume of 5 L. Shake well before use.

Dosage and Adjustment

The exact amount to distribute depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to accurately calculate this consumption using a dedicated tool such as AquaCalculator, and then adjust the doses accordingly.
