With a small amount of product, this small mass offers a very large surface on which beneficial bacteria (Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter), involved in biological filtration, can develop. The absorbent power of Mediapur is selective and targets pollutants and catabolites, while avoiding capturing nutrients, such as vitamins.
