Benefits and Usage

Artemia are recognized for their high nutritional value and excellent palatability with almost all species of ornamental fish. The freeze-drying process preserves the nutrients while offering a safe alternative to live or frozen food.

This food does not cloud the water and helps maintain good aquarium quality through better digestibility, thus limiting fish waste.

The artemia pieces rise and float on the water's surface, allowing fish to easily tear off portions suitable for their size. It is also possible to lightly press the pieces to reduce their buoyancy.

About Artemia

The artemia Artemia salina is a small crustacean living in salt lakes around the world. It produces eggs capable of surviving dry for long periods. Once placed back in saltwater, these eggs hatch into nauplii that can reach about 1.5 cm when adult.

The JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO contains only large vacuum freeze-dried artemia, without additives or preservatives, to preserve their natural components.
