JBL PLOFLORA CO2 TAIFUN SPIRAL 5 – CO2 Reactor for Freshwater Aquarium

The JBL PLOFLORA CO2 TAIFUN SPIRAL 5 is a CO2 reactor designed to ensure visible and effective diffusion of carbon dioxide in freshwater aquariums. It operates without an additional pump or separate bubble counter.

Operating Principle

The CO2 circulates in a spiral where the bubbles rise slowly, promoting their complete dissolution in the water. An integrated recovery cap prevents CO2 loss and ensures optimal efficiency for plant fertilization.

Compatibility and Capacity

This reactor is suitable for freshwater aquariums from 40 to 200 L, with a minimum water height of 12 cm. It allows effective CO2 diffusion up to 200 L for a carbonate hardness of 4°KH and up to 100 L for a hardness of 10°KH.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation is simple and quick. The reactor connects directly to a CO2 fertilization system using the special hose provided. It is attached in the aquarium with the included suction cups and remains compatible with all common CO2 systems.

The reactor is fully dismountable, which makes cleaning and regular maintenance easy.

Design and Modularity

Made of robust polycarbonate, the JBL PLOFLORA CO2 TAIFUN SPIRAL 5 is extendable thanks to its stackable modules. It consists of five spiral modules, a base module with hose connection, and an upper recovery cap.
