It is intended for demanding reef aquariums, where parameter stability and the balance of macro and micro elements are essential for maintaining corals and invertebrates.

The volume of salt water that can be prepared depends on the desired density or PPT. To achieve a density of 1.0264 corresponding to 35.5 PPT, it is recommended to mix 1 kg of Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt with 26 L of reverse osmosis water using a circulation pump.

The salt should be gradually added to the water, never the reverse, to ensure even dissolution and avoid any precipitation.

Dissolution Time and Recommended Parameters

The saltwater is ready for use once the salt is completely dissolved, which takes about 30 minutes. The best results are achieved at a temperature between 24 and 25°C.

Salinity should be checked using a reliable and calibrated refractometer. Adjust if necessary by adding salt or reverse osmosis water before introducing into the aquarium.

Water Change Recommendations

A weekly partial water change of 10 to 12% with Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt helps maintain the natural balance of all macro and micro elements.
