The volume of saltwater that can be prepared depends on the desired specific gravity or PPT. To achieve a density of 1.0264 corresponding to 35.5 PPT, it is recommended to mix 1 kg of Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt with 26 L of osmosis water using a circulation pump.

The salt should be added gradually to the water to ensure even dissolution.

Dissolution Time and Recommended Parameters

The prepared saltwater is ready to use when the salt is completely dissolved, which takes about 30 minutes. Best results are obtained at a temperature between 24 and 25°C.

Salinity should be checked using a reliable and calibrated refractometer. Adjust if necessary before adding to the aquarium.

Water Change Recommendations

A weekly partial water change of 10 to 12% with Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt helps maintain the natural balance of all macro and micro elements.
