To maximize its pink coloration and ensure balanced growth, moderate to strong lighting is recommended, with an intensity of 200-300 PAR. Medium to strong water flow is essential to oxygenate the coral's tissues and prevent sediment accumulation on its fine branches.

Like all SPS corals, the Pink Pocillopora damicornis requires stable and well-balanced water:

- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-9 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
