This mantis shrimp can measure up to around 35cm. It has two "hammers," balls of chitin, at the ends of its legs that allow it to strike snails and sea urchins at very high speeds to shatter their shells for consumption.
It has two independent eyes with an LCD-like vision that it directs in all directions to monitor its burrow.
