Magnesium plays a fundamental role in the stability of calcium and alkalinity. Correct concentration prevents unwanted precipitation and contributes to a stable ionic balance, essential for the proper development of corals.

Nyos Magnesium+ is formulated from a very high-quality magnesium salt, free of organic impurities, ensuring safe use even in the most demanding reef aquariums.

Compatible with Balling Systems

Nyos Magnesium+ is ideal for all 2 or 3 part dosing systems and integrates perfectly into a complete Balling method in combination with Nyos Calcium+ and Nyos Alkalinity+.

Preparation of the Stock Solution

It is recommended to prepare a pre-mixed solution with osmosis water.

Dilute 1000 g of Nyos Magnesium+ in 2000 ml of osmosis water.

This solution contains approximately 60,000 mg of magnesium per liter.

Dosage of the Stock Solution

17 ml of solution increases the magnesium concentration by 10 mg/l for 100 liters of water.

Direct Powder Addition

84 g of Nyos Magnesium+ increase the magnesium concentration by 10 mg/l in 1000 liters of water.

Nyos Magnesium+ should never be added directly to the aquarium. It must be dissolved in osmosis water beforehand.

Recommendations

Measure the magnesium concentration at least once a week and adjust the dosage accordingly.
