Alkalinity plays a fundamental role in pH stability and in the calcification of hard corals. A stable KH value is essential for ensuring healthy and continuous growth of reef corals.

Nyos Alkalinity+ is formulated from very high-quality sodium bicarbonate, without organic impurities, ensuring safe use even in demanding reef aquariums.

Compatible with Balling Systems

Nyos Alkalinity+ is perfectly suited for Balling methods and is ideally used in combination with Nyos Calcium+ and Nyos Magnesium+ for a complete ionic balance.

Preparation of the Stock Solution

It is recommended to prepare a solution with osmosis water.

Dissolve 160 g of Nyos Alkalinity+ in 2000 ml of osmosis water.

Dosage of the Stock Solution

38 ml of this solution increases the carbonate hardness by 1 °dKH in 100 liters of water.
