The JBL PROAQUATEST Fe REFILL is a colorimetric test used to determine the iron (Fe) content in freshwater and marine water. It helps control an essential parameter for the healthy development of plants and to monitor imbalances that can affect the aquarium.
Measured parameter: iron (Fe).
Compatibility: freshwater and marine water, aquarium and pond.
Method: comparative system with comparator and color chart.
Capacity: content intended for approximately 50 measurements.
The test uses a comparative system to compensate for the water's inherent color. Fill two test tubes with the water to be tested, add the reagent to one test tube only, then place both test tubes in the comparator holder. The value is determined by comparing the color with the color chart.
Use once after installation, then once a week. Monitoring can be useful in case of green algae problems or when plants do not grow properly.
Quick iron test with reagent for approximately 50 measurements, two glass test tubes with screw cap, a syringe, a comparator, and a color chart.
Conduct the measurement with clean and rinsed test tubes, then carefully close the bottles after use. Store the test components in a dry and clean place to maintain reliable readings over the course of measurements.
This test is intended for iron monitoring in aquariums and ponds. Regular readings facilitate tracking inputs and maintaining stable parameters in both freshwater and marine environments.
