Tropic Marin Elimi-NP Organic Carbon for Reef Aquarium

Tropic Marin Elimi-NP is a concentrated organic carbon designed to effectively reduce nitrates and phosphates in marine aquariums. It is particularly suitable for reef aquariums with high phosphate concentrations associated with a low nitrate-phosphate ratio, a situation frequently encountered in systems equipped with a calcium reactor.

Targeted Nutrient Reduction

Elimi-NP works by promoting biological processes responsible for the consumption of nitrates and phosphates. Its use allows for a gradual and controlled reduction of nutrients, essential for maintaining the biological balance of the reef aquarium.

The product is suitable for aquariums populated with marine fish, soft corals, LPS corals, SPS corals, filter feeders, and crustaceans.

Thanks to its liquid formulation based on polyalcohols, dosing is simple and precise. Elimi-NP is specially designed for aquariums with excess phosphate and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio.

Introduce Elimi-NP into an area of strong circulation to ensure immediate and even distribution in the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Start with a daily dosage of 0.1 ml for 100 L of aquarium water. Increase the dosage every two weeks in increments of 0.1 ml for 100 L, carefully observing the animals and monitoring nutrient concentrations.

The maximum recommended daily dosage is 0.5 ml for 100 L. The reduction of phosphates should be gradual to avoid any adaptation stress to the organisms. The nitrate-phosphate ratio of 10:1 should not be exceeded.

Usage Recommendations

Elimi-NP is recommended for phosphate concentrations greater than 0.1 mg/L. For lower concentrations or when the nitrate-phosphate ratio is greater than 10:1, the use of Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance is advised.

Usage According to Packaging

For the 50 ml bottle, use the provided syringe with the tube to measure the desired amount. The air drawn in during withdrawal does not affect the accuracy of the dosage.

For the 250 ml bottle, unlock the head of the pump by turning it to the left. A full press corresponds to 1 ml of solution.
