Tropic Marin Block Iodine is a concentrated solution specially formulated to add iodine, fluorine, bromine, and selenium in a marine aquarium when deficits are observed. This blend of halogens and trace elements helps maintain a stable environment suitable for the needs of corals and other sensitive marine organisms.
The halogens iodine, fluorine, and bromine are integrated into organic and inorganic structures and help strengthen these skeletons. Iodine is essential for the proper acclimatization of corals to light. Selenium, on the other hand, plays a protective role against oxygen radicals, thus contributing to tissue defense.
The Tropic Marin Block System uses an indicator element to dose trace elements that are consumed in the same proportions. This approach compensates for elements whose actual concentrations are often below the detection threshold of conventional analysis devices.
| Iodine (I) | 875 mg/l |
| Fluorine (F) | 1110 mg/l |
| Bromine (Br) | 435 mg/l |
| Selenium (Se) | 0.5 mg/l |
Reliable and precise supply of iodine, fluorine, bromine, and selenium to correct deficits in halogens and trace elements.
Consideration of elements whose levels are too low to be accurately measured by analysis devices.
Integrated doser with dosing cap, suitable for manual use or with a dosing pump.
Water and inorganic compounds of iodine, fluorine, bromine, and selenium.
2 ml per 100 L of aquarium increases concentrations by:
| Iodine | +17.5 µg/l |
| Fluorine | +22.2 µg/l |
| Bromine | +8.7 µg/l |
| Selenium | +0.01 µg/l |
Maximum dosage: 4 ml per 100 L per day.
Store the product in a cool and dark place.
It is recommended to regularly check the iodine concentration as well as other water parameters using Tropic Marin ICP analyses, in order to precisely adjust the use of Tropic Marin Block Iodine.
