The ARKA myAQUA 1900 resin filter refill is intended for replacing the filter media of the myAQUA 1900 resin filter. It ensures maximum efficiency in removing residual dissolved substances after reverse osmosis.

Purification Function

The ARKA myAQUA 1900 resin filter refill efficiently removes the finest residues of silicates, nitrates, as well as many dissolved organic and inorganic substances, expressed as total dissolved solids. It achieves extremely pure water suitable for high demands in aquariums.

Filter Media Structure

The filter media consists of a mix of cationic and anionic resins in a 1:1 ratio, in H+ and OH- forms. This combination allows the production of extremely pure water, with an average conductivity of about 0.1 µS/cm.

Compatibility

This refill is specifically designed for use with the ARKA myAQUA 1900 resin filter. It fits directly into the filter body designed for this purpose, without modification.

Maintenance and Replacement

Replacement of the refill is recommended every 6 to 12 months depending on the quality of the incoming water and the volume of water treated. An increase in the conductivity of the output water indicates that the resin is saturated and needs to be replaced to maintain optimal water quality.
