Balling Light Trace 2 Metabolic Fauna Marin is a trace element solution intended for the targeted compensation of micro-elements within the Balling Light method or any classic Balling method. Adding trace elements to Balling salts allows for basic and complete compensation, adapted to the actual consumption of the aquarium.

Function and principle of action

Controlled supply of trace elements helps maintain the metabolic balance of reef organisms and helps prevent progressive imbalances associated with old tank syndrome. This solution is compatible with high-consumption aquariums and allows for precise adjustments according to the specific needs of each aquarium.

Compatibility with Balling Light method

The Balling Light method is based on the use of three distinct containers: calcium, magnesium, and carbonate. Balling Light Trace 2 is exclusively added to container 1, corresponding to the Calcium Mix.

Preparation of the Calcium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Calcium Mix in 3 L of osmosis water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 1 and 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 2. Mix thoroughly, then complete with osmosis water to obtain a total volume of 5 L. Shake well before use.

Dosage and adjustment

The exact amount to distribute depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to calculate this consumption precisely using a dedicated tool such as AquaCalculator and then adjust the doses accordingly.
