Principle of the Balling Light Method

The Balling Light system by Fauna Marin is a complete and autonomous system, compatible with all types of marine aquariums and common filtration methods, including ZEO and Berlin methods. It allows the supply of only the elements actually consumed, thus ensuring long-lasting stability of parameters.

Advantages of Calcium Mix

This salt integrates a combination of trace elements promoting coral growth and coloration. Its use allows for a tailor-made dosage, precisely calculated using AquaCalculator, which effectively limits the old tank syndrome. Its concentrated formulation ensures an economical and reliable supply while maintaining stable values in calcium, magnesium, and carbonates for healthy and well-colored soft corals.

Preparation of Canister 1 – Calcium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Calcium Mix in 3 liters of osmosed water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 1 and 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 2. Mix thoroughly, then complete with osmosed water to achieve a final volume of 5 liters.

The amount to dose depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to precisely calculate the needs using AquaCalculator and adjust the dosage accordingly.

Using the Balling Light System

The Balling Light method requires the use of three separate canisters for complete reef aquarium supply. Canister 1 must exclusively contain the Calcium Mix.
