A rare LPS coral with golden hues
The RAH Galaxea fascicularis Gold is an exclusive strain from our RécifAtHome breeding, selected for the intense brilliance of its golden yellow polyps. This captivating coral captures light with every movement, creating a sparkling effect that instantly enhances the reef decor.
A vibrant and dynamic visual effect
Equipped with elongated and mobile polyps, the Galaxea Gold creates a dense and lively texture. Even at a small size, it catches the eye with its golden reflections and constant movement. A perfect piece to create a bright focal point in your aquarium.
Ideal conditions for optimal brilliance
Lighting and water flow
To bring out the intensity of its golden hues, moderate to strong lighting (between 150 and 250 PAR) is recommended. Moderate water flow will allow good oxygenation while accompanying the natural movement of its polyps without stressing them.
Water parameters
Like all LPS corals, the RAH Galaxea fascicularis Gold requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24–26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0–8.4
- KH: 7–9 dKH
- Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
- Nitrates: 2–10 mg/L
- Phosphates: 0.02–0.08 mg/L
A precious coral to handle with care
Its long polyps can be stinging to neighboring corals, so it is advisable to give it space. However, its visual impact more than compensates for this need for isolation: the RAH Galaxea Gold is a living jewel, both bright, textured, and structuring.
