Elacatinus figaro – Rare Cleaner Goby from Pro Aquatix Breeding
Elacatinus figaro is a discreet and graceful cleaner goby, still uncommon in reef aquariums. Native to the tropical Atlantic Ocean, it is distinguished by its elongated body adorned with lateral white lines contrasting against a dark background, and its behavior of actively cleaning other fish.
A Fascinating and Useful Behavior
Like other cleaner gobies of the Elacatinus genus, Elacatinus figaro perches on rocks and waits for its “clients”, which it frees from parasites and dead skin. It can live in pairs or small groups, and remains peaceful even in a community tank.
Pro Aquatix Breeding Quality
Originating from the French breeding program Pro Aquatix, this goby is hand-selected, fed, and acclimated in captivity. All specimens are guaranteed to be 100% without deformities and perfectly suited to life in a reef aquarium.
Maintenance Conditions

- Temperature: 24°C to 26°C
