Gobiodon histrio – Striped Coral Goby Chameleon
Gobiodon histrio, also known as the striped coral goby, is a small reef fish with a unique appearance. It has an elongated green body decorated with fine orange stripes. Its appearance can change according to its environment, thanks to a remarkable ability to change color similar to a chameleon.
An ideal inhabitant for branching corals
Like most gobies of the genus Gobiodon, G. histrio lives in close association with branching hard corals, such as Acropora. It finds refuge, security, and territory there. Its sedentary behavior makes it an easy fish to observe, often perched in the same spot for several hours.
Small, robust, and perfect for beginners
With its small size, Gobiodon histrio is perfect for small reef aquariums starting at 60 liters. It is very undemanding, robust, and poses no danger to corals or invertebrates. It's an excellent choice for beginner aquarists who want to introduce an original fish into a vibrant and natural setting.

Histrio
Mon poisson gobie est arrivé en parfaite santé (tout comme le marmoratus quelques semaines plus tôt). Il se montre de plus en plus fréquemment et à déjà adopté son corail. Encore bravo pour l écoute et le professionnalisme de l équipe !

En regardant les commentaires, je me suis dit que je n'allais pas le voir souvent Au contraire, ce poisson n'est pas du tout craintif. J'adore ses couleurs. Il se pose sur le décors mais toujours côté pièce. Il pourrait aller derrière le décors mais non J'ai un bac récifal de 30 litres et il parfait pour les petits volumes. Il est accompagné d'une crevette et de coraux Je vais certainement en prendre un deuxième
