Koumansetta rainfordi – Rainford's Goby for Reef Aquarium
Koumansetta rainfordi, better known as the Rainford's goby, is a calm and functional fish perfectly suited for small reef aquariums of at least 100 liters. It features a slender white to beige body with thin orange stripes, giving it an elegant and delicate appearance.
A useful goby for the substrate
This fish spends most of its time at the bottom of the aquarium, where it filters the sand searching for microalgae and microfauna. Thanks to this behavior, it actively contributes to the natural cleaning of the substrate while maintaining the biological balance of the tank.
Easy to maintain for beginners
Due to its peaceful nature and low requirements, Koumansetta rainfordi is ideal for beginner aquarists. It simply needs a sandy substrate and live rocks to feel comfortable and feed properly.
Maintenance conditions
