Common name: Blue-cheeked Goby Fish. This fish has a white body with a yellow head and a blue stripe under its eyes. For its well-being, it is preferable to have a sandy bottom with coral fragments in a reef aquarium so it can build its protective burrow. Valenciennea strigata – Bluecheek Goby
Valenciennea strigata, also known as the bluecheek goby, is an elegant and functional species in a reef aquarium. This goby is distinguished by its white body, bright yellow head, and a thin blue line under each eye, which gives it its common name.
A useful and visually remarkable fish
Like other gobies of the Valenciennea genus, the Valenciennea strigata sifts through the sand to extract microorganisms, while ensuring the natural cleaning of the substrate. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but also very useful in a reef tank.
It builds a protective burrow using sand and small fragments of coral. For this, it is essential to provide it with a soft sandy bottom. This goby thrives particularly well when introduced in pairs.

Bouge le sable sans arrêt

Magnifique !
Arrivé ce matin , très bien emballé . L'eau était encore a bonne température . Après une bonne acclimatation ils ont rejoins le bac . Et au bout d'une heure ils étaient déjà entrain de parcourir le bac . Je recommande !

Strigata
Très content de mon achat, j’en ai pris qu’un, le premier jour, il est allez de suite se cacher, je ne l’ai plus vu pendant trois jours et ensuite il sortait petit à petit quand il n’y avait personne autour du bac, aujourd’hui il retourne le sable constamment même en présence de visiteur autour de l’aquarium, c génial ! Mon sable est depuis toujours blanc.
