The volume of saltwater that can be prepared depends on the desired specific gravity or PPT. To achieve a density of 1.0264 corresponding to 35.5 PPT, it is recommended to mix 1 kg of Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt with 26 L of reverse osmosis water using a circulation pump.

The salt should be added gradually to the water to ensure homogeneous and stable dissolution.

Dissolution Time and Recommended Parameters

The saltwater obtained is ready for use once the salt is completely dissolved, approximately 30 minutes. The best results are achieved at a temperature between 24 and 25°C.

Salinity should be checked using a reliable and calibrated refractometer. Adjust if necessary before adding to the aquarium.

Water Change Recommendations

A weekly partial water change of 10 to 12% with Royal Nature Ion Balanced Pro salt helps maintain the natural balance of all macro and micro elements.
