Nano-Tech Bio-Blocks are carefully manufactured to ensure optimal quality and porous structure, thereby effectively controlling the quality and stability of the water column.

Each Nano-Tech Bio-Block has up to 1080 m² (11635ft²) of surface area for the establishment of bacterial colonies.

Nano-Tech Bio-Blocks excel in establishing bacterial colonies in the form of bio-nano composite films. They allow different species of bacteria and fungi, such as nitrifying bacteria, yeasts, phototrophic prokaryotes, etc., to develop on their large surface without breaking them down.

To facilitate maintenance and save space for other equipment, we advise placing the Nano-Tech Bio-Blocks directly in your tank.

Replacing Nano-Tech Bio-Blocks

For optimal efficiency, Nano-Tech Bio-Blocks should be cleaned or replaced every 6 months. However, when cleaning or replacing them, DO NOT change them all at once. Clean or replace only half to ensure there are enough bacterial colonies remaining to develop in the freshly cleaned or replaced Bio-Blocks.
