An SPS Coral with Intense Colors

Ideal Conditions for Optimal Coloration
Lighting and Water Flow
To maintain its intense hues and promote its development, a moderate to strong lighting is recommended, with an intensity of about 200-300 PAR. A strong water flow is necessary to prevent sediment accumulation and ensure optimal oxygenation of its tissues.
Water Parameters
Like all SPS corals, the RAH Porites Red Eye requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-9 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
- Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal coloration
- Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L
