Trochus pyramis, also known as Tectus pyramis, is a marine detritivore snail particularly effective at removing algae and biofilm from the live rocks in your reef aquarium. Native to Indonesia, it is highly appreciated for its discretion and efficiency.

Unlike other larger or clumsier snails, the Trochus pyramis does not move corals and does not damage the décor.
