Planaxis sulcatus – Small Reef Snail Cleaner for Aquarium
Planaxis sulcatus is a very small grazing snail, perfectly suited for life in a reef aquarium. Thanks to its ability to slip into the tightest crevices, it cleans every nook and cranny of the decor, substrate, and live rock. Native to the intertidal zones of the Indo-Pacific, it is accustomed to evolving in fluctuating environments.
A Curious and Agile Snail
Unlike many other reef gastropods, the Planaxis sulcatus is capable of partially emerging from the water to graze in tide pools left at low tide. This adaptability makes it very active and mobile in the aquarium, where it explores every square inch in search of algae.
Maintenance Conditions
