Calcium (Ca) is one of the essential components of seawater. It is consumed by corals, invertebrates, and calcareous algae for the formation of their skeleton.
An appropriate concentration of calcium is essential to ensure proper growth and good development of calcifying organisms. A stable calcium level also contributes to the overall quality of marine aquarium water.
Colorimetric calcium (Ca) test.
Essential in reef marine aquariums.
Precise monitoring of calcifying organisms.
Visual reading by color comparison.
The ideal calcium concentration is generally between 400 and 450 mg/L. Regular monitoring helps prevent growth problems and maintain optimal water stability.
Test reagent, a measuring test tube, a comparative scale, and usage instructions.
Take a water sample using the provided test tube, add the reagent according to the instructions, then compare the obtained color to the comparative scale to determine the calcium concentration.
Keep out of reach of children. Dangerous. Strictly follow the precautions indicated on the packaging.
