Tropic Marin Phyton – Phytoplankton Food for Marine Filter Feeders

Filter-feeding organisms such as sponges, soft corals and leathers, mussels, and other invertebrates derive a significant portion of their diet from phytoplankton. In the natural environment, vast volumes of water continuously circulate through the reef, constantly supplying these essential microorganisms.

In a reef aquarium, this natural supply must be replaced in a controlled manner to ensure sufficient energy and nutritional intake for the metabolism, growth, and proper functioning of the filter feeders. Phyton has been developed to closely replicate this natural supply of phytoplankton.

Its formulation is based on a blend of high-quality algae, providing trace elements and carbohydrates in a composition similar to that of the sea. Spirulina offers a high content of carotenoids, while brewer's yeast meets the needs for natural B vitamins, particularly vitamin B12.

Benefits

Type of food Phytoplankton substitute for marine aquariums
Target organisms Soft corals and leathers, sponges, mussels, and other filter feeders
Nutritional intake Balanced provider of energy and nutrients
Trace elements Natural supply via selected marine algae
Carbohydrates Source of marine carbohydrates adapted for filter feeders
Vitamins Rich in natural B vitamins, particularly vitamin B12

Ingredients

Algae, brewer's yeast, spirulina, shrimp products, and by-products.

Additives

Cellulose 10%, trimethylglycine 25 g/kg, vitamin B12 100 mg/kg.

Application and Dosage

Add one scoop of Phyton twice a day for 200 to 500 liters of aquarium water.

Mix the corresponding dose in a cup with aquarium water and let it soak for a few moments. Then slowly pour the prepared food into the aquarium to allow optimal absorption by the filter-feeding organisms.

Storage and Precautions

Store in a cool, dry place.

Product not intended for human consumption.

A regular supply of phytoplankton contributes to better coral opening, more intense coloration, and sustainable biological balance in a reef aquarium.
