Siganus vulpinus – Foxface Rabbitfish for a Reef Aquarium
Siganus vulpinus, nicknamed foxface rabbitfish or foxface, is a fascinating reef fish with intense colors. Its bright yellow body is elegantly contrasted by a white head crossed with a black mask, giving it a marine fox appearance. Measuring up to 25 cm, it is one of the most appreciated species in large marine aquariums.
A Peaceful and Highly Compatible Fish
Like all rabbitfish, the Siganus vulpinus is extremely peaceful. It perfectly tolerates the presence of other fish, even the smallest ones, and shows no aggression towards invertebrates or corals. Relationships with its peers can sometimes be more delicate, but in general, cohabitation occurs without incident if the space is sufficient.

- Temperature: 23°C to 28°C
- pH: 8.0 to 8.5
- Resistance: good tolerance to variations in pH and salinity
- Decor: areas for free swimming and live rocks

Phytophagous by nature, this fish consumes a wide variety of algae. It actively participates in the natural regulation of algae in your reef aquarium. It appreciates additional food supplements in the form of nori, spirulina, blanched spinach, and also accepts enriched vegetable pellets. A varied diet will promote its longevity and liveliness.

Génial contre les valonia
Au top et je recommande fortement contre les valonias, il a fait du super boulot en plus d’être cool avec tous les habitants de l’aquarium. Bien sûr super emballage de la part de l’équipe de récifs at home.
