Colombo CO2 Indicator – Drop Checker for CO2 Control in Aquariums
The Colombo CO2 Indicator is a drop test that allows you to quickly and visually know the CO2 level in the aquarium. Thanks to a colored reagent, it indicates at a glance whether the CO2 supply is insufficient, optimal, or excessive.
Small in size and equipped with a suction cup, the drop checker can be easily and discreetly placed in the tank, without affecting the aquarium's aesthetics.
Precise CO2 Monitoring
The CO2 level and the pH of the water are essential parameters that have a direct impact on the health of the fish and the growth of aquatic plants. The Colombo CO2 Indicator is one of the most reliable tools for monitoring these parameters, especially when starting a new aquarium.
A well-controlled CO2 supply promotes plant growth. On the other hand, an excess can lead to acidosis, which is potentially dangerous for the fish, hence the importance of regular monitoring.
Simple Reading with Color Code
Blue color: CO2 level too low.
Green color: Optimal CO2 level.
Yellow color: CO2 level too high.
Usage
Place the reagent in the drop checker.
Place the drop checker in the aquarium, opposite the CO2 diffuser.
Secure the device with the suction cup.
Observe the color of the reagent to interpret the CO2 level.
