Elementals Ca Sr Fauna Marin is a highly concentrated calcium and strontium solution intended for reef marine aquariums. It allows for individual and precise compensation of calcium deficits, directly related to the supply of strontium, essential elements for the growth of calcifying organisms.

Role of calcium and strontium

Calcium, like carbonates, is essential for the formation and development of the skeletons of corals and invertebrates. Strontium complements calcium in the biological processes related to calcification and the stability of the reef environment.

Reference values

The recommended optimal values are 380 to 420 mg/L for calcium and about 8 mg/L for strontium, for a salinity of 35. These parameters should be regularly checked using reliable water analyses.

Recommended dosage

50 ml for 100 L of water increases the calcium concentration by 95 mg/L and strontium by 1.8 mg/L.

The maximum recommended daily dose is 25 ml for 100 L.
