Grotech kH+Ca 1 5000 ml – solution for carbonate hardness and pH
kH+Ca 1 is a solution designed to quickly increase the carbonate hardness of the water and stabilize the pH buffer in a reef aquarium. It is part of the basic supply system kH+Ca from Grotech.
Role and Functioning
Carbonate hardness plays an essential role in the stability of the pH. A kH value that is too low poses a risk to the aquarium and can lead to a drop in pH. The ideal kH value is around 10 °kH.
This solution allows for a quick correction of a kH drop and supports the water's buffering capacity.
Recommended Dosage
The addition of 50 ml of kH+Ca 1 increases the carbonate hardness by 2 °kH for 100 L of aquarium water.
The dosage should be adjusted to the actual volume of the aquarium and the measured needs.
Do not mix in a graduated cup.
